Renaissance Guy tagged me with this meme and so I’m interrupting our regularly scheduled blogramming to bring you this meme.
The rules are:
Link to the person’s blog who tagged you.
Post these rules on your blog.
List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself.
Tag seven random [?] people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting on comment on their blog.
Listing random or weird facts is, well, weird. I think I’ll approach this like a Jungian and post the first seven things that come to my head:
- I have predicted the gender of the unborn children of over 20 different young women with 100% accuracy.
- When I was about 12 or 13 years old, I ran naked through a huge wheat field in the pouring rain. It was exhilarating, I can tell you.
- I can cross my little toes. Before you scoff, just try doing it yourself. You’ll know it’s a gift, then.
- I am a statistical rarity, with test results on at least five different empirical measures that place me in a 1-2% minority.
- I have had a handful of dreams that later came true.
- I have seen several movies over 30 times each, and I still forget parts of them.
- I know how to take several different types of firearms apart, clean them, reassemble and load them, and use them with exceptional accuracy.
I am tagging these people because I want to know more odd things about them:
- The Cerebral Mum
- Beck at Frog and Toad are Still Friends
- Smiler, at From Smiler with Love
- Rae, at Journey Mama so that she can have this distraction.
- Mary Joan at Matriarch
- Deb at Tired Mummy
- Nina, at Adoptee Journal

Interesting facts.
I had a great-grandmother who had a knack for predicting a baby’s sex. I myself predicted the sex and hair color of our first baby because I dreamed about her the night before she was born.

Makes you wonder what we’re tapping into when we can know these things, huh?

I’ll be all over it tomorrow for my next post. I happen to love memes. Maybe that’s one of the weird things I can list?
Fyi, today’s post is about a Kandinski piece I have as a poster. Tiv and I started discussing Kandiski here, as you may or may not recall.
Thanks for thinking of me!

If you were a character in a novel, I’d have you run through a wheat field with your little toes crossed, run into a pregnant lady, guess her unborn child’s gender, and then have a dream about assembling firearms–only to wake up and realize you don’t remember the movies you watched the other day, at which point, you assemble firearms and shoot skeet.
Good?
I love your list.

Jade: That is extremely impressive impromptu fiction-writing. You’ve got a quick finger on the writing-trigger.

Ha ha ha ha ha, Jade!!! I nearly sputtered hot tea on my keyboard, reading your amazing not-so-fictional fiction! Hilarious!

Eve, I finally got around to doing your meme. Since I am so ancient, I listed ten random facts about myself.
